Moose lose in Shootout

The Mooseheads fired everything they had at Rocket goalie Wendall Vye, including 9 shooters in the shootout, but could not beat the PEI Rocket netminder Sunday afternoon at the Metro Centre falling by a score of 2-1.  Jessyko Bernard scored for the Mooseheads.  Mathieu Corbeil took the loss in nets despite a strong performance making 19 saves and stopping 8 of 9 PEI shooters in the shootout.  

The Mooseheads now go on a 3-game road trip with stops in Lewiston, Quebec and Shawinigan.  They return to home ice Friday, February 5th against the first place Saint John Sea Dogs.
